Job Summary
Manage all aspects of the assigned practice/facility operation, ensuring a patient and customer focus to support high-quality care delivery. Lead the selection, training, and supervision of non-physician clinic staff while participating in performance evaluations and disciplinary actions. Conduct thorough financial analysis and cost-benefit analysis for process improvements and capital equipment purchases. Review clinical, financial, and operating reports to make correlating decisions that ensure a sustainable and profitable operation. Collaborate with Billing & Collection Teams to monitor metrics and benchmarks, and optimize patient satisfaction by implementing survey tools and managing social media reviews. Serve as a trusted advisor to physicians and a leader to team members, driving organizational goals while maximizing practice performance.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as a medical practice manager
- Valid Driver's License
- Must have superior patient service attitude and skills
- Meets dress code standards
- Completes annual educational requirements
- Maintains regulatory requirements
- Maintains patient confidentiality at all times and understands HIPAA rules
- Observes OSHA and Cal-OSHA workplace safety rules
- Reports to work on time and as scheduled
- Wears identification while on duty
- Uses computerized punch time system correctly
- Attends staff meetings
- Represents the organization in a positive and professional manner in the community
- Complies with all organizational policies regarding ethical business practices
- Communicates the mission, ethics and goals of the office
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in English, both verbally and in writing
Desired Qualifications
- MBA or Master's degree with a healthcare focus
- Certified Medical Practice Executive (CMPE)
- Bilingual English/Spanish
- Experience in a practice of more than 5 physicians
- Financial expertise in healthcare fiscal management

- Microsoft Office knowledge (Word, Excel, and Outlook)
