Job Summary
Practice Manager needed at Pain Specialists of America (PSA), a Texas-based multisite pain management provider. Responsible for the daily management and oversight of all employees at the Killeen, TX location, ensuring operational efficiency, high-quality patient care, and exceptional customer service. Key duties include supervising staff, establishing schedules and resource allocation, conducting 90-day and annual performance reviews, managing time and payroll data (timesheets, deposits, till reconciliation), overseeing inventory and office supplies, enforcing patient privacy and HIPAA-compliant processes, maintaining accurate EHR entries, coordinating environment-of-care activities, and facilitating staff training and cross-coverage. Strong emphasis on regulatory compliance, emergency preparedness, and professional communication with patients, physicians, and corporate. Successful candidate will demonstrate organizational excellence, ability to manage multiple priorities, and effective written and verbal communication skills, with experience using HIT systems and producing reports.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Public Health, Business, or similar is preferred
- Prior experience in healthcare is desired
- Prior experience in a manager role in healthcare is desired
- Effective problem-solving skills
- Working knowledge of federal and state regulations that impact clinic operations, including HIPAA
- Ability to accurately and efficiently use Health Information Technology (HIT) Systems, including running reports
