Job Summary
Practice Manager for Orthopedics and Sports Medicine leading operation across AMG/ Advocate Health-affiliated practice sites. Key focus on patient-centered environment with strong emphasis on patient satisfaction, health outcomes, and operational excellence. Responsibilities include coordinating with directors and physician leadership, implementing improvement plans, monitoring compliance with standards and HIPAA, managing budgeting and financial operations, overseeing human resources activities, and driving practice growth and efficiency. Requires a Bachelor’s degree in healthcare/related field or equivalent and 3-5 years of management experience; strong communication, budgeting, billing/insurance knowledge, and the ability to supervise diverse staff. Travel to multiple practice sites and on-call requirements are expected.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in healthcare/related field or equivalent.
- 3-5 years management experience.
- Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required: Excellent communication skills.
- Thorough understanding of components of practice management, including billing/collection/insurance, performance standards, physician concerns, quality assurance, personnel selection and budgetary planning, control & assessment.
- Ability to supervise professional & non-professional associates & promote staff development through delegation.
- Ability to work well with a wide variety of professionals at all levels of the health care system.
- Basic computer skills.
