Job Summary
Practice Manager responsible for day-to-day operations to support the veterinary care team, partnering with the chief of staff to optimize hospital processes, budgets, scheduling, and staff development. Lead education of associates on Banfield guidelines, coordinate continuing education needs, and ensure a positive client/patient experience. Collaborate with veterinary medical team, field leadership, corporate HQ, and PetSmart associates (if applicable) to drive growth and quality care. The role emphasizes leadership, budgeting and planning for the hospital, scheduling, and educating clients about preventive care and Optimum Wellness Plans, with opportunities for ongoing professional development. Requirements include a Bachelor’s degree preferred (or equivalent experience) and at least three years of related supervisory experience, plus strong organizational, communication, interpersonal, problem-solving, conflict-management, leadership, and analytical capabilities.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business or related discipline preferred, or the equivalent combination of education, training and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities.
- Three years related experience required (health care, veterinary profession, service industry, etc.), including direct supervisory experience (includes hiring, associate development, etc.)
