Job Summary
Supervise a team of Opticians, Technicians, and Patient Care Coordinators while resolving patient and employee issues. Convey a customer-centric approach by coaching staff to deliver exceptional service and monitor all practice operations for workflow efficiency. Analyze financial data to optimize profitability, manage inventory and product costs, and ensure compliance with billing and HIPAA standards. Recruit high-caliber talent, conduct performance evaluations, and deliver team trainings. Maintain full-time hours with a salary of $58,000-$65,000, including medical, dental, vision, PTO, and 401k benefits.
Required Qualifications
- Prefer optical experience and/or minimum of 2 years of retail management/supervisory experience
- General understanding of operations, processes, and high level of business acumen
- Excellent communication, organizational, leadership, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to set, monitor and achieve productivity goals
- Ability to problem solve, exercise sound judgment, and exhibit a high level of attention to detail
- Understanding of optometric business processes and strategic development
- Ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks and meet required deadlines
- Excellent customer service skills and personal presentation
