Job Summary
Oversee daily operations of a small animal veterinary clinic while supporting hospital workflow, scheduling, and team coordination. Assist on the treatment floor with patient handling, restraint, and workflow support as needed. Coach, mentor, and develop team members while acting as a bridge between leadership and the hospital staff. Partner with the Managing Veterinarian to manage staffing, performance, and administrative functions including payroll and inventory. Foster an exceptional client experience from check-in to discharge and identify process improvements to optimize hospital efficiency.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 3+ years experience in a veterinary hospital or clinic
- Strong Veterinary Assistant or Technician skills: patient handling, assisting doctors/techs, treatment support, and clinic workflow
- Strong knowledge of veterinary clinic operations and hospital flow
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and team leadership skills
- Highly organized, adaptable, and calm under pressure
Desired Qualifications
- Leadership or supervisory experience
- Experience with practice management software
- LVT license
