Job Summary
Supervise a team of Opticians, Technicians, and Patient Care Coordinators while resolving patient and employee issues. Convey a customer-centric approach by coaching staff to deliver exceptional service and serving as a role model. Monitor practice operations, analyze financial data to optimize profitability, and manage product and inventory levels. Recruit high-caliber talent, conduct performance evaluations, and ensure compliance with billing, staff behaviors, and HIPAA regulations. Lead trainings on core philosophies and collaborate with Optometrists to maintain workflow efficiency. This full-time exempt role offers a salary between $52,000 and $60,000 for a candidate with at least four years of retail management experience.
Required Qualifications
- Prefer optical experience and/or minimum of 4 years of retail management/supervisory experience
- General understanding of operations, processes, and high level of business acumen
- Excellent communication, organizational, leadership, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to set, monitor and achieve productivity goals
- Ability to problem solve, exercise sound judgment, and exhibit a high level of attention to detail
- Understanding of optometric business processes and strategic development
- Ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks and meet required deadlines
