Job Summary
Supervise a team of Opticians, Technicians, and Patient Care Coordinators while resolving patient and employee issues. Work closely with Lead ODs to ensure exceptional patient experience, workflow efficiency, and highest standards of care. Convey a customer-centric approach by coaching staff, leading performance reviews, and delivering trainings. Monitor practice operations, analyze financial data to optimize profitability, and manage product and inventory. Recruit high-caliber talent and ensure compliance with billing, staff behaviors, and HIPAA regulations. Perform consistent staff evaluations and deliver team trainings using core philosophies.
Required Qualifications
- Prefer optical experience and/or minimum of 2 years of retail management/supervisory experience
- General understanding of operations, processes, and high level of business acumen
- Excellent communication, organizational, leadership, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to set, monitor and achieve productivity goals
- Ability to problem solve, exercise sound judgment, and exhibit a high level of attention to detail
- Understanding of optometric business processes and strategic development
- Ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks and meet required deadlines
- Excellent customer service skills and personal presentation
