Job Summary
Oversee day-to-day operations of the veterinary practice, supervising staff recruitment, scheduling, and performance management while managing budgets, billing, and expense reports. Lead client relations by coaching teams on exceptional service, monitoring reviews, and ensuring high-quality patient care through rigorous quality controls. Execute marketing strategies to attract new clients, manage social media, and expand community presence through outreach programs. Ensure full compliance with veterinary regulations, health and safety laws, and OSHA requirements while maintaining accurate records and databases. Train staff on practice technology and partner with IT support to address system needs. Manage inventory, office supplies, and equipment maintenance to ensure smooth daily activities. Work in a fast-paced environment with potential evening or weekend hours based on patient needs.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a managerial role
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Must be able to lift and perform occasional physical tasks
Desired Qualifications
- CVPM, CVBL
- Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration or other relevant areas
- Demonstrated experience in P&L management and financial analysis
- Experience in a veterinary practice
- Experience in a healthcare setting
