Practice Manager

Manages physician-practice operations and staffing across AdventHealth locations to deliver high-quality care in a courteous, patient-focused environment. Leads startup activities for newly recruited and established physician practices, coordinates credentialing, and oversees hiring, performance evaluations, and employee development. Maintains and updates job descriptions, supports budgeting decisions, ensures regulatory compliance, drives revenue cycle management (up-front collections, modifiers usage, coding for clean claims), and enhances operational processes including flow, documentation, training, and staff engagement. Requires knowledge of medical terminology, front-office tasks, organizational policies, customer service, EHR systems, and billing/coding workflows; proficiency in Microsoft Office; and strong leadership, planning, problem-solving, and communication skills. Education: Bachelor's degree; Experience: 2+ years supervisory experience; Licenses/Certifications: BLS/CPR required; CMOM preferred. This full-time role is based in Winter Haven, Florida, with responsibilities spanning multiple physician practices under the AdventHealth primary care umbrella.
