Practice Leader - Water

Job Summary
Lead business development by securing new clients, fostering long-term relationships, and executing a strategic plan to establish and support a new office in Calgary. Drive project success through client and regulatory meetings while managing budgets, schedules, and profitability for industrial water projects. Mentor staff across seniority levels, prepare technical reports and proposals, and oversee work meeting contract schedules and regulatory requirements. Occasional fieldwork is required. This role requires a P.Eng, 10+ years of experience, and strong expertise in industrial water process engineering.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in chemical engineering, mechanical engineering or environmental engineering, or a related field of study
- Professional registration e.g. P.Eng
- At least 10 years of relevant consulting or client-side experience
- Strong expertise in water process engineering for the industrial sector
- Experience working in multi-disciplinary project teams
- Demonstrated success in client development and management
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced consulting environment, managing multiple projects, meeting deadlines, and traveling to client sites as needed
- Valid Canadian driver's license
- Satisfactory driving record
