Job Summary
Conduct field surveys using advanced instruments and GPS technology to measure land boundaries, topographic features, and geographic coordinates. Analyze survey data, maps, and legal documents to determine property lines, resolve discrepancies, and prepare detailed reports for clients and government agencies. Collaborate with engineers and architects on construction projects while maintaining equipment calibration and ensuring compliance with surveying standards. Provide expert testimony in legal disputes and research property deeds and historical records to support project accuracy. Manage multiple projects independently while liaising with stakeholders to communicate findings effectively.
Required Qualifications
- 15+ years as a licensed Professional Land Surveyor (PLS)
- Working knowledge of Civil 3D and/or Carlson
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Ability to manage multiple projects at one time
- Experience building and growing an established surveying practice
- This is not a remote position
- Fort Collins, CO office
