Job Summary
Lead team and market strategy for the Public & Institutional sector by guiding project delivery, managing client relationships, and championing diversity. Establish annual business goals, lead RFP responses, and secure new clients while monitoring project performance and technical quality. Grow direct reports through supervision and coaching, negotiate contracts, and represent the firm as a thought leader at industry events. Achieve profitability targets within a national practice delivering sustainable design solutions for federal, healthcare, and educational projects. Operate on a flexible hybrid schedule with three days in the Downtown Los Angeles office and two days remote.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or higher degree in Architecture and/or Interior Design
- Master's in Architecture or Bachelor of Architecture
- Professional registration
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in design and leadership of related projects
- Strong project portfolio
- Subject matter expertise in governmental, civic & community projects, historic/adaptive reuse, workplace, recreation, library, museum, learning, and higher education
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to coordinate across multiple locations
- Extensive knowledge of fee proposals, negotiations, and contract/subcontract administration
- Demonstrated ability to plan, organize, supervise, and coordinate technical work
- Ability to prioritize and delegate assignments
- Ability to foster team cooperation
- Effective time management and organizational skills
- Strong analytical skills
