Job Summary
Lead a Land Development team by building relationships with key clients, managing projects profitably, and establishing budgets to ensure quality and timeliness. Identify and track leads, make presentations, write proposals and scopes of work, and transition work to qualified staff while growing and mentoring younger employees. Operate with integrity, provide practice vision and business planning, and communicate positively at all organizational levels to direct resources effectively. Manage recruitment and administrative support while pursuing opportunities that fuel professional passion and contribute to firmwide success.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering
- Extensive client contacts and relationships with local or national architects, developers, land use attorneys, planners and/or land owners as well as local jurisdictional staff
- P.E. with at least 10 years of experience growing and leading a land development practice in the Tulsa regional market
- Business development and marketing experience including; writing proposals, scopes of work, and budgeting for projected work
- Ability to effectively communicate positively at all levels of the organization
- Ability to manage & mentor staff, and direct resources effectively in a positive manner
- Demonstrated ability to manage land development projects profitably
