Job Summary
Lead a Land Development team by building and managing relationships with key clients while operating with integrity and sound business principles. Provide vision, business planning, and strategy to establish goals and grow the practice. Manage projects profitably, transition work to qualified staff, and mentor personnel. Maintain open communication with partners and direct resources effectively. Enjoy autonomy to lead, direct, and grow your business, supported by a performance-based bonus program and potential advancement to ownership. Based in Portland, OR, this role requires a Registered Professional Engineer with 15+ years of experience and strong technical skills in AutoCAD Civil3D.
Required Qualifications
- 15+ years of relevant experience managing land development projects
- Registered Professional Engineer (P.E.) license
- Extensive client contacts and relationships with local architects, developers, land use attorneys, planners and/or land owners
- Strong technical skills with AutoCAD Civil3D
- Business development and marketing experience including writing proposals, scopes of work, and budgeting for projected work
- Ability to effectively communicate positively at all levels of the organization
- Ability to manage & mentor staff, and direct resources effectively in a positive manner
- Demonstrated ability to manage land development projects profitably
