Job Summary
Practice Director for Systems Engineering and Safety Assurance (SESA) & Engineering Management leading a national team within AECOM’s Transportation practice. Drive capability development, ensure delivery excellence across rail/infrastructure projects, manage client relationships and work-winning activities, lead governance and safety initiatives, mentor diverse teams, and coordinate cross-region collaboration to grow capability and capacity across the EC. Focus on improving performance, implementing best practices, and delivering high-quality outcomes while fostering an inclusive culture and strong safety/wellbeing leadership.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience leading Systems Engineering & Safety Assurance (SESA) or Engineering Management teams
- Strong track record in work winning, delivering projects, and client relationship management
- Experience delivering complex, multi-disciplinary infrastructure projects
- Experience working across regions, sectors, and business lines
- Strong leadership capability with experience managing large, diverse teams
- Commercially astute with the ability to deliver profitable, high-quality outcomes
- Commitment to safety leadership and wellbeing
- Ability to develop people, improve performance, and drive quality and innovation
