Job Summary
Senior Practice Director to lead and develop a five-branch veterinary group across Cambridgeshire. Drive commercial performance with P&L ownership, budgeting, forecasting, and delivery of financial targets while ensuring clinical governance, regulatory compliance, and operational efficiency. Lead and develop senior site leaders, translate central strategy into actionable local plans, and foster a high-performance, values-driven culture. Collaborate with Clinical Directors/Lead Vets to align clinical excellence with operational execution, identify opportunities for growth and continuous improvement, and navigate a complex healthcare environment within a hospital-led, multi-site veterinary organization. Strong people leadership, financial acumen, and change-management capabilities are essential; veterinary or healthcare leadership experience preferred. Required Qualifications
- Multi-site leadership experience (essential) in veterinary, healthcare, or related regulated service environment
- Background in veterinary practice, healthcare, or related field
- Commercially minded with experience managing complex P&L structures
- Strong people leadership with experience managing senior clinicians and operational leaders
- Ability to balance clinical excellence with commercial performance
- Experience operating in a matrix organisation with local autonomy and central governance
- Change management or transformation experience (desirable)
