Practice Development Manager (BC Consumables) - Northern Virginia

Job Summary

Drive territory sales and utilization quotas by performing effective penetration, coverage, and account identification to increase the customer base for consumables products. Deliver training, presentations, and demonstrations on product application while educating customers on indications, contraindications, and safety. Facilitate regional training workshops and tradeshows, manage administrative tasks like business plans and Salesforce updates, and maintain up-to-date territory profiles. Communicate consistently with regional and area managers for accurate forecasting and ensure compliance with FDA GMPs, ISO13485, and QSR regulations. This field-based role requires a valid driver's license, ability to travel for multi-overnight stays, and strong communication skills to represent Allergan Aesthetics with high integrity.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in health, sciences, pharmacy or business-related field
  • Relevant and equivalent industry experience
  • 2-4 years demonstrated success selling medical products or services to physicians and/or other health care providers
  • Direct customer experience with the plastic surgeon and dermatology audience
  • Experience with consumables selling
  • Ability to communicate effectively, orally and in writing, with all levels of employees
  • Proven ability to provide a high level of customer service and support to achieve practice integration of the CoolSculpting Procedure
  • High level of accountability, reliability and extremely responsive
  • Ability to make effective and persuasive communications and technical presentations to physicians, management and/or large groups
  • Ability to thoroughly understand and communicate the attributes and qualities of Company products using professional selling and closing skills
  • High level of organization with regard to schedule management and follow-up skills
  • Knowledge of FDA GMPs
  • Ability to function in a controlled environment regulated by FDA GMPs
  • Home office capability
  • Reliable high-speed internet access
  • Ability to travel in order to adequately cover the region including multi-overnight stays, attend tradeshows, and corporate and training meetings
  • Valid driver's license issued by the state/province in which the individual resides
  • Good driving record
  • Responsible for performing all duties in compliance with FDA's Quality System Regulation (QSR), ISO13485, the Canadian Medical Device Regulations, and all other international regulatory requirements with which Allergan complies

Desired Qualifications
