Practice Development Coordinator

Job Summary
Support regional and practice group managers with proposal requests and RFPs by drafting submissions using practice descriptions, experience databases, and client lists. Maintain records of the firm's specific practice experience and compile information for directory and ranking authorities like Chambers USA and Legal 500. Organize practice group conference calls, follow up on action items, and draft marketing materials, newsletters, press releases, and client communications. Ensure information flow from attorneys to the marketing team regarding biographies and practice updates. Collaborate with marketing research, communications, events, and design teams to gather industry analysis and deploy firm-hosted programs including webinars and seminars. This role reports to the Senior Practice Development Manager on a hybrid basis within the Global Marketing Team.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- Two to four years of relevant experience in a marketing or business development
- High level of proficiency using Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
- Understanding of AI capabilities, limitations, and responsible use in a professional environment
- Familiarity with, or willingness to learn, firm-approved AI tools (e.g., Copilot, ChatGPT, or similar platforms) to support daily workflow and/or improve work quality
- Excellent prioritization, problem solving and time management skills
- Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, both written and oral; including solid composition, research and editing skills
- Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced work environment that works well under pressure
- Tech-Savvy problem solver who will have the ability to learn new programs or systems with ease
