Job Summary
Practice Coordinators are key leaders on shift, partnering with the Practice Manager to support daily operations, coach and develop team members, address challenges, and ensure smooth hospital functioning. The role combines patient care, client service, and operational oversight with a focus on accountability, communication, and improving hospital performance. Responsibilities include creating schedules, handling unplanned schedule changes, leading meetings, guiding staff on hospital guidelines, maintaining client records, managing client flow, resolving client concerns, and contributing to hospital growth and success through collaboration with the PM. The position involves overseeing both clinical and administrative duties (CSR, CrVT, VA) 60-80% of shifts in functional roles, and requires leadership, teamwork, and strong communication skills, along with proficiency in Microsoft Office and the ability to lift up to 40 pounds.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Minimum of 3 years of previous experience in the client service industry or veterinary experience
- Must meet the qualifications required for the applicable functional role (CSR, Veterinary Assistant, or Credentialed Veterinary Technician)
- Experience with Microsoft Office suite products
- Strong multitasking and time management skills
- Ability to work effectively within a team setting
- Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
- Ability to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch as well as manipulate (lift, carry and move) up to 40 pounds
