Job Summary

Lead business development efforts, manage relationships with key clients, and oversee all project tasks including hydraulic modeling, stormwater planning, and BMP design. Direct and grow your business with significant autonomy while mentoring younger staff and transitioning work to qualified personnel. Establish goals, provide vision and business planning, and maintain positive client relationships through open communication with partners and the team. Manage projects profitably, write proposals and scopes of work, and demonstrate the ability to solve project problems for local municipalities and state agencies. Grow and lead a Surface Water practice focused on resiliency and sustainable infrastructure engineering.

Required Qualifications

  • 8+ years of Civil Engineering and design experience
  • Registered Professional Engineer (P.E.) license
  • Client contacts and relationships with local municipalities, area counties, water management authorities and local, regional, state agencies
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and technical skills
  • Strong desire and ability to be engaged with clients solving project problems
  • Ability to effectively communicate positively at all levels of the organization
  • Ability to manage and mentor staff and direct resources effectively in a positive manner
  • Demonstrated ability to manage projects profitably
  • Experience writing proposals, scopes of work, and budgets for projected work
