Job Summary
Manage the planning, production, and delivery of transportation planning projects including mobility plans, corridor studies, safety action plans, transit studies, passenger rail studies, and electric vehicle plans. Lead project outreach activities by guiding public engagement, presenting to community members and organizations, and assisting clients with program management, capital planning, and policy development. Mentor and develop staff while guiding practice vision, business planning, and strategy to grow and direct the Transportation Planning practice. Operate with integrity and sound business principles to manage projects profitably and establish positive client relationships.
Required Qualifications
- 8+ years of years of planning experience, including large capital transit infrastructure projects
- Bachelors Degree or higher in Transportation Planning, Urban Planning, or related
- Provide high quality deliverables with exceptional client service
- A desire to lead and grow a planning practice
- Business development and marketing experience including writing proposals, scopes of work, and budgets for projected work
- Ability to work in a team environment and effectively communicate at all levels of the organization
Desired Qualifications
- Registered American Institute of Certified Planners (AICP) Preferred
- Local and regional experience preferred
