Job Summary

Manage the planning, production, and delivery of transportation planning projects including mobility plans, corridor studies, safety action plans, transit studies, passenger rail studies, and climate adaptation plans. Lead project outreach activities by guiding public engagement direction, giving presentations, and meeting with community members, businesses, and organizations to explain project scope and impacts. Assist clients with program management, capital planning, and policy development while mentoring staff and growing the practice. Operate with integrity, provide practice vision and business planning, establish goals, and maintain positive client relationships. Manage projects profitably and transition work to qualified staff.

Required Qualifications

  • 8+ years of years of planning experience, including large capital transit infrastructure projects
  • Bachelors Degree or higher in Transportation Planning, Urban Planning, or related
  • Provide high quality deliverables with exceptional client service
  • A desire to lead and grow a planning practice
  • Business development and marketing experience including writing proposals, scopes of work, and budgets for projected work
  • Ability to work in a team environment and effectively communicate at all levels of the organization

Desired Qualifications

  • Registered American Institute of Certified Planners (AICP) Preferred
  • Local and regional experience preferred
