Lead a land development team in the Greater Houston Area by operating with integrity, providing business strategy, and establishing clear goals. Build and maintain positive client relationships while growing and mentoring staff to transition work effectively. Manage projects profitably with significant autonomy to direct business development, including writing proposals and budgeting. Demonstrate strong technical skills in AutoCAD Civil3D and extensive local industry contacts. Required Qualifications
- 8+ years of relevant experience managing land development projects
- Registered Professional Engineer (P.E.) license
- Extensive client contacts and relationships with local architects, developers, land use attorneys, planners and/or land owners
- Strong technical skills with AutoCAD Civil3D
- Business development and marketing experience including writing proposals, scopes of work, and budgeting for projected work
- Ability to effectively communicate positively at all levels of the organization
- Ability to manage & mentor staff, and direct resources effectively in a positive manner
- Demonstrated ability to manage land development projects profitably
