Job Summary
Lead a land development team by operating with integrity, establishing business goals, and building positive client relationships with local architects, developers, and attorneys. Provide vision and strategy to grow and mentor staff while managing projects profitably with significant autonomy to direct resources and transition work effectively. Manage the practice's profitability through open communication with partners and direct leadership, leveraging extensive client contacts and technical skills in AutoCAD Civil3D. Required Qualifications
- 8+ years of relevant experience managing land development projects
- Registered Professional Engineer (P.E.) license
- Extensive client contacts and relationships with local architects, developers, land use attorneys, planners and/or land owners
- Strong technical skills with AutoCAD Civil3D
- Business development and marketing experience including writing proposals, scopes of work, and budgeting for projected work
- Ability to effectively communicate positively at all levels of the organization
- Ability to manage & mentor staff, and direct resources effectively in a positive manner
- Demonstrated ability to manage land development projects profitably
