Job Summary
Greet patients, manage complex scheduling, and coordinate referrals while verifying insurance eligibility and updating the electronic health record. Obtain prior authorizations, collect payments, and settle the daily cash drawer. Escalate complex cases or scheduling issues as the first point of contact and mentor Practice Associates I-III. Provide administrative support to physicians and managers, conduct training sessions for new staff, and track compliance requirements. Rotate to other sites as Team Lead or Preceptor when operational needs dictate.
Required Qualifications
- Associate degree
- 2 years of relevant experience (substitute for degree)
- 5 years of relevant experience
