Job Summary
Provide administrative support for the Neurosurgery practice, performing clerical and scheduling duties to support smooth operation. Responsibilities include making and managing patient appointments, greeting and assisting patients, handling phone inquiries, processing billing forms and scanning documents to the patient record, requesting medical records and lab results, opening/distributing mail, typing forms and memos, and supporting EPIC scheduling, registration, and billing needs. May assist with more complex scheduling tasks such as surgical scheduling or block changes; training and cross-coverage for colleagues in related areas may be required. Strong proficiency with Office Suite and excellent communication, organization, and time-management skills are essential to create an efficient, patient-centered environment.
Required Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent required
- Experience: Office experience 2-3 years required
- Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Proficiency with all Office Suite; experience with scheduling, billing, and EPIC; strong written and verbal communication; time management and organizational skills
