Job Summary
Support providers with the delivery of high-quality health care to ambulatory patients by securing patient information, safeguarding medical records, and adhering to professional standards. Respond to verbal and electronic requests using proper policies and reference tools while maintaining a safe, secure work environment. Assist in crisis situations, support HR compliance processes including I-9 forms, and handle drug screening specimen collection and supply ordering. Uphold strict confidentiality of all patient, provider, and organizational information. Complete all other relevant responsibilities as assigned by the supervisor.
Required Qualifications
- At least one year of experience working in a medical office and/or mental health
- Experience working with patients who are suffering from anxiety and depression
- Ability to maintain professional appearance and demeanor, and interface well with patients in a mental health setting
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well with a team
- Excellent computer skills
- Associates or bachelor's degree
- Some experience in healthcare settings
- Knowledge of working at a clinical setting
