Job Summary
Urogynecology and Pelvic Reconstruction Surgeon position at UPMC Magee-Women's Hospital in Pittsburgh, PA. The role involves assessing and treating urogynecologic conditions, including office-based procedures and vaginal/minimally invasive surgeries, with an outreach program spanning 15 community sites and collaboration across six facilities. The candidate will mentor and teach residents and fellows, participate in research, and contribute to a robust fellowship program. Opportunities include research, CME, malpractice coverage, sign-on bonus, relocation assistance, and an incentive-based compensation package in addition to a competitive base salary. Call schedule includes back-up coverage for fellows (approximately 4–5 weekends/year and 1–2 weekdays/month). The position supports an academic appointment and offers a comprehensive benefits package and PTO.
Required Qualifications
- Fellowship trained in Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery
- Board certified or eligible in Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery
- Advanced laparoscopic/robotic surgical skills
- Knowledge of diagnostic, therapeutic and surgical options for female urinary incontinence
- Mentor and teach residents and fellows
- Academic appointment or strong research opportunities
