Pediatrician with a focus on Child Advocacy sought to join UPMC Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh in Pittsburgh, PA, as the ninth faculty member of the Division of Child Advocacy. Responsibilities include evaluating children with suspected physical or sexual abuse and neglect in inpatient and outpatient settings, rotating through inpatient consults and outpatient exams, and participating in teaching for medical students, residents, fellows, and community partners. The role offers an academic appointment with opportunities for research and further development of clinical services, plus a strong emphasis on education and scholarly activities within a renowned pediatric environment. The department highlights a high-volume program with established colleagues and a rich clinical and research environment, including the ARCH clinic serving foster children and extensive forensic interview activity; compensation is commensurate with experience and includes full benefits and paid time off. Locations include Pittsburgh, PA and Brentwood, NY with on-site, in-person clinical responsibilities at both sites.
