Job Summary
As the Practice Area Leader for Data Centers at Gensler, you'll be responsible for leading a team to deliver exceptional Critical Facilities projects. This role places you at the forefront of inspiring design through leadership, client relationship building, and financial management of projects. You will actively mentor team members and foster a collaborative work environment. Key requirements include extensive architectural experience, particularly in critical facility design, along with strong leadership and presentation skills.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Architecture, Design or related discipline
- 15+ years of architectural experience
- 5 or more years' experience in an architecture and design firm in client development and/or management
- 10+ years of experience in critical facility design with preference in data center projects
- Advanced knowledge of the architectural planning and design process, code requirements and design of building systems
