Practice Administrator

Job Summary

Lead a team of over 80 employees and provide executive oversight of the practice's operations, finances, and strategic direction. Serve as administrator for the multi-location specialty practice, ensuring compliance, quality, and safety while reporting to the Executive Committee and Board of Directors. Prepare agendas, facilitate Board meetings, and act as primary liaison between partners, staff, and the Board to align priorities and resolve conflicts. Manage all financial functions including budgeting, forecasting, reporting, payroll, and revenue cycle operations, while negotiating payer contracts and optimizing reimbursement. Oversee HR functions such as recruitment, retention, and employee relations, and drive staff development and performance evaluations. Monitor key operational metrics, implement process improvements, and represent the organization in negotiations with payers and vendors. Maintain cash flow stability and respond to urgent business needs as required. Monday–Friday in-office schedule (7:30 am – 4:30 pm or 8:00 am – 5:00 pm); salary $150,000.00. Bachelor's degree in business administration or healthcare management with 10+ years of senior leadership experience in healthcare administration.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, Healthcare Management, Finance, or related field
  • 10+ years of senior leadership experience in healthcare administration or related field
  • Strong financial management skills with a proven track record of managing multi-million-dollar budgets
  • Proficiency in EMR systems (EPIC or similar), Excel, report preparation, and understanding of QuickBooks
  • Exceptional communication, organizational, and conflict resolution skills
  • Ability to balance strategic vision with hands-on operational execution
  • Monday–Friday, in-office schedule
