Job Summary
Prepare statutory and annual accounts for SMEs and limited companies, draft corporation tax computations and CT600 returns, and produce complete year-end accounting files with supporting schedules. Deliver ad-hoc advisory services, manage client expectations, and maintain strong professional relationships while ensuring compliance with professional standards. Delegate tasks, review junior staff work, and mentor trainees to support their professional development. This varied role involves supporting Partners and Managers with client portfolios and contributing to continuous improvement of internal processes. Required Qualifications
- ACA or ACCA qualification, recently qualified
- Strong practical experience gained within an accountancy practice environment
- Solid experience preparing statutory and annual accounts
- Experience preparing corporation tax computations and returns
- Experience reviewing junior staff work and providing guidance
- Confidence using cloud accounting software, particularly Xero, alongside QuickBooks, Sage and Excel
- Strong IT skills and good knowledge of Microsoft Office packages
