Job Summary
Provides basic nursing care by assessing residents on admission and ongoing basis; communicates changes to IDT and families; documents assessments; participates in care planning and updates plans as interventions change; administers nursing interventions, medications, and treatments safely and timely; administers IV fluids if IV certified; documents interventions accurately; uses SBARR for physician notification; maintains composure during crises; monitors care plan delivery and uses QAPI to address issues; performs ADLs assistance, shift responsibilities, and ongoing nursing education to stay current with Bethesda policies; may be assigned other duties as appropriate.
Required Qualifications
- Education from an accredited school of nursing that results in becoming a Licensed Practical Nurse
- Current LPN license in the state you will be working
- CPR and AED certification required, or willing to obtain within six months of employment
- IV certification required, or willing to obtain within six months of employment
