Job Summary
The Practical Nursing Instructor provides high-standard instruction to nursing students, evaluates student progress, communicates essential information, offers academic advice, and participates in campus committees. Responsibilities include maintaining healthcare compliance, promoting education excellence, collaborating on curriculum and scheduling, and fostering professional relationships. Qualifications include an unencumbered RN license and at least an Associate's Degree in Nursing, with preferences for clinical or teaching experience. Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills are essential.
Required Qualifications
- Must be a graduate of an approved School of Nursing
- Must have an unencumbered RN license in Mississippi
- Hold a minimum of an Associate's Degree in Nursing
- Have three years clinical experience working as a RN; or have two years' experience as faculty in a nursing/allied health program
- Satisfy clinical agency requirements, i.e.: background checks, immunizations, CPR, etc.
