Job Summary
Nursing professionals are sought to serve as Practical Nursing Faculty with responsibilities including teaching students in a hands-on learning environment, particularly in areas such as Pediatrics, Labor and Delivery, Medical Surgical, Critical Care, Behavioral Health, and Geriatric care. Candidates should possess a strong academic background, exemplary communication skills, and the ability to foster a student-centric learning atmosphere. A current RN license and relevant experience are mandatory, while prior teaching experience is preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Current unrestricted license to practice as a registered nurse in the State in which the program is licensed
- A baccalaureate degree, preferably with a major in nursing; or an associate degree and be actively enrolled in a baccalaureate degree program
- 3-5 years of recent work as a nurse within the past 10 years
- Experience in Pediatrics, Obstetrics, Medical/Surgical, Behavioral Health, or Critical Care departments
Desired Qualifications
- Prior undergraduate teaching experience preferred
