Respond to guest repair requests and communicate with guests to resolve maintenance issues. Perform preventive maintenance on tools and hotel equipment, including cleaning and lubrication, and inspect, operate shut-offs, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC components. Maintain maintenance inventory, requisition parts, and document daily activities to other shifts. Demonstrate knowledge across air conditioning/refrigeration, electrical, mechanical, plumbing, carpentry, kitchen equipment, and general building systems; perform surface preparation, painting, drywall and trim repairs, bulb and filter replacements, and complete cleanup of work areas. Use Lockout/Tagout procedures before maintenance work, and handle interior/exterior landscaping tasks, including sprinklers. Display basic computer skills for inputting schedules and adjusting temperatures. Follow all safety, security, and company policies; maintain professional appearance and protect company assets. Communicate effectively with guests and colleagues, support team goals, and comply with all job duties as requested.
