Job Summary
Oversee daily program operations for assigned outpatient orthopedic clinics, including DME inventory tracking, analysis, ordering, documentation, and data entry. Conduct proper on-site patient fitting and education for all DME, while managing precertification, preauthorization requests, and insurance billing paperwork. Establish and monitor orthopedic DME inventory levels and educate clinic staff on proper policies and procedures. Provide superior customer service and onsite management of DME supplies under the supervision of physicians and practice administrators.
Required Qualifications
- High school graduate or equivalent
- One to three years of experience in a fast-paced outpatient clinic setting
- Familiarity with medical terminology
- One to three years of experience in prior authorizations, particularly in DME or rehabilitation
Desired Qualifications
- DME experience preferred
