Job Summary
PURPLE is seeking an ambitious Vice President to join the Lifestyle team. Based in Los Angeles or New York, the role oversees a portfolio of luxury lifestyle clients, guiding strategic direction, cultivating media and influencer relationships, mentoring teams, and driving business growth. The VP will serve as the senior strategic lead for lifestyle accounts, develop long-term communications strategies, provide trusted client counsel, oversee campaign planning, press strategy, events, partnerships, and brand storytelling, and lead a team while managing budgets, contracts, and billing. The position requires a strong agency background, extensive media and influencer contacts across US, UK, and international lifestyle sectors, and a proven track record in delivering high-profile PR campaigns, events, and partnerships. The candidate should demonstrate leadership, mentorship, excellent communication skills, and an entrepreneurial mindset focused on growth and cultural relevance in the luxury lifestyle space.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 8–10 years of experience in public relations
- Strong agency background with proven ability to lead accounts and deliver strategic excellence
- Extensive media and influencer contacts across the US, UK, and international lifestyle sectors
- Proven track record of developing and executing high-profile PR campaigns, events, and partnerships
- Confident team leader with experience managing and mentoring junior to senior-level talent
- Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills
