Job Summary
Build a PR and Communications function from the ground up in the APAC region, including hiring managers and agencies in Singapore, Australia, China, and Japan. Implement regional communications strategies that align with organizational goals to fuel growth among governments and enterprises in highly-regulated industries. Partner with global teams, marketing, and sales to craft compelling messaging, develop rapid response capabilities, and oversee high-impact forums like executive speaking engagements and industry conferences. Adopt AI integration for content ideation and optimize the communications channel ecosystem while leading cross-functional storytelling initiatives. Serve as the central hub ensuring consistency between internal, external, and executive narratives across all touchpoints.
Required Qualifications
- 12-15 years of experience in-house corporate communications
- 5+ years of experience in people management
- Are scrappy
- Are experienced at hiring, onboarding, and managing PR agencies
- Are adept in pre-IPO communications
- Have experience and/or heavy interest in policy and regulatory communications
- Are an exceptional writer
- Have experience serving as a communications business partner or trusted advisor to senior leaders, executives, and people/human resources teams
- Are highly organised and process-driven, with strong project management skills and a bias for action
- Bring high levels of creativity to communications
- Are comfortable navigating organisational dynamics and building strong relationships across all levels
- Thrive in ambiguous, fast-moving environments and know how to prioritise ruthlessly
