Job Summary
Provide students with appropriate learning activities and experiences designed to help them fulfill their potential for intellectual, emotional, physical, and social growth. Enable students to develop competencies and skills to function successfully in society while instructing students and managing their behavior. Deliver curriculum and instruction for grades 2-3 in an elementary self-contained classroom setting. Requires a Bachelor's degree, valid Texas teaching certificate, and strong organizational and communication skills. ESL preferred. Start date 08/01/2026. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree from accredited university
- Valid Texas teaching certificate with required endorsements for subject and level assigned
- Knowledge of subjects assigned
- General knowledge of curriculum and instruction
- Ability to instruct students and manage their behavior
- Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Technology Literacy: E-mail, Word Processing, Multimedia, Internet, Audio/Visual Equipment Technician
- Elementary Self-Contained
Desired Qualifications
- ESL preferred, but not required
