PQC (Process Quality Control) Inspector - Night Shift

Job Summary
Lead quality control initiatives including first article, process patrol, and final inspections across all product processes. Supervise production operations by referencing process flow, drawings, and work instructions while identifying and documenting quality abnormalities. Describe detected issues, maintain statistical data on defect rates, and issue Process Exception Reports to relevant departments for tracking and improvement verification. Execute both process and final product inspections to ascertain quality standards. Complete additional tasks as directed by the supervisor. This role supports the rapid scaling of a new 1.1 million-square-foot solar panel manufacturing facility in Columbus, Ohio.
Required Qualifications
- A bachelor's degree or an equivalent qualification
- 0-2 years of relevant experience in quality control or similar fields
- Comprehensive knowledge of production safety, lean production techniques, and production quality standards
- Exceptional learning ability with a keen interest in exploring new areas and concepts
- Demonstrated ambition, self-motivation, and a high degree of self-discipline
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in using inspection tools and equipment
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
- Excellent communication and reporting skills
- Attention to detail with a commitment to achieving high-quality results
- Night shift availability
