Job Summary
Prep areas to be painted such as I beams, ground tanks, and handrails, then pressure wash surfaces to remove heavy rust. Perform technical duties requiring the ability to lift and carry items up to 50 pounds, move through confined spaces and uneven areas, and climb ladders while maintaining balance. Maintain full range of motion, adequate hearing for voice commands and alarms, and visual acuity for working at heights. Complete hiring paperwork electronically through DocuSign. Safety steel toe shoes are required.
Required Qualifications
- Two plus years of industrial painting experience
- Must be able to complete hiring paperwork electronically through DocuSign
- Must be able to lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds
- Must posses enough strength and stamina to perform the technical duties and essential functions as identified above
- Must be able to move in and around confined spaces and uneven areas
- Must have full range of motion consistent with age
- Must be able to climb and maintain balance ladders
- Must be able to adequately hear and respond to voice commands and alerts from other employees, alarms and other job-related noises
- Visual acuity, depth perception and color discrimination consistent with that required to work at heights and on uneven surfaces
- Safety/Steel toe shoes are required
