Job Summary
Assist with daily clinical and clerical operations of assigned walk-in clinics while collaborating with the clinical team to provide quality care to patients and support to providers. Perform duties requiring solid verbal and written communication skills, familiarity with computers and electronic medical records, and the ability to lift 25 pounds. Maintain CPR certification and ensure consistent communication throughout patient interactions. This role is part of Parkview's Medical Assistant Advancement Pathway, offering tuition assistance and certification reimbursement for certified and uncertified staff in part-time and full-time positions.
Required Qualifications
- High school graduate or the equivalent with GED
- Completed a medical assistant program that meets certification eligibility requirements
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) through American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA)
- Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) through American Medical Technologists (AMT)
- Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA) through National HealthcareerAssociation (NHA)
- National Certified Medical Assistant (NCMA) through National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT)
- Clinical Medical Assistant Certification (CMAC) through American Medical Certification Association (AMCA)
- CPR certification
- Solid verbal and written communication skills
- Knowledge of clinical and clerical operations
- Familiarity with computers

- Ability to lift 25 pounds
