Job Summary
Track budget execution, obligations, and expenditures across multiple funding lines while monitoring financial performance and identifying risks impacting project delivery. Align funding with project schedules, milestones, and execution priorities by maintaining financial and execution trackers. Support PPBE-informed planning, funding strategies, and portfolio trade-off analysis to assist with budget build activities and funds phasing. Develop executive briefings and financial decision-support materials that analyze burn rates and execution trends to optimize funding allocation. Coordinate with project teams, contracting, and financial stakeholders on funding actions and prepare recurring financial and execution status updates. Provide appropriations-aware guidance for compliant funds execution to support leadership investment decisions and project delivery within a complex R&D program with an annual budget exceeding $100M.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Economics, Engineering, or related field
- 15 years of experience with 5+ years supporting DoW financial management, budgeting, or program portfolio execution
- TS/SCI Clearance Required
- Experience with DAI
- Experience tracking funds execution across multiple projects or funding lines
- Familiarity with PPBE process and DoW appropriations (RDT&E, O&M, Procurement, etc.)
- Strong analytical and communication skills, including executive briefing development
- Able to work full-time in a Chantilly VA office within SCIF/SAPF spaces
