Job Summary
Responsibilities include signaling operators on machinery, assisting journeymen in construction and demolition, cleaning and preparing job sites, controlling traffic near work zones, and potentially operating a water truck. Candidates must have over a year of construction experience, a high school diploma or GED, and the ability to understand safety instructions. Physical stamina to perform various tasks is required.
Required Qualifications
- 1+ years of experience within the construction industry
- High School Diploma or GED
- Basic understanding of English to read and understand work instructions and safety information
- Must be able to follow directions
- Ability to meet physical demands of the job which include walking, bending, pushing, pulling, lifting, sitting, squatting, and occasionally lifting and carrying items which may weigh up to 25 pounds
Additional Requirements
- Must be available for work 5am – 6pm Monday through Saturdays
- Willing to travel and must be able to supply their own transportation
