Job Summary
Manage all technical aspects of PTSR fleet data to identify OBD diagnostic, drivability, and emission issues, determining whether root causes are hardware, software, or calibration related. Identify, resolve, and track issues from fleet launch to completion while triaging problems through in-vehicle testing and proposing calibration solutions. Update flight recorder configurations to collect necessary Powertrain parameters and review engine scan data with Application Engineers to develop action plans. Chair issue review meetings, publish status spreadsheets and scorecards, coordinate emission testing at specified intervals, and communicate investigation direction to test sites. Assist the Quality Group on issue resolution. Requires a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Computer Engineering with 1-3 years of diagnostic systems calibration experience. Domestic and international travel up to 20% is required, along with a company car and valid driver's license.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or equivalent from an ABET accredited University
- 1-3 years of experience in diagnostic systems calibration development
- Valid driver's license
- Clean driving record
- Will be required to travel domestically and internationally up to 20%
