Job Summary
Lead advanced simulation activities for a high-performance powertrain, focusing on structural integrity, dynamics and NVH. Responsible for subsystem crash simulations, mounting-system fatigue analysis, topology optimization, and cross-functional collaboration to define targets and deliver simulation-driven engineering solutions. Requires strong modal analysis, multi-body dynamics, explicit dynamics experience, and the ability to communicate technical results clearly while mentoring junior engineers. Flexible hours with up to 12 days of remote work per month; comprehensive benefits and holidays.
Required Qualifications
- 5–10 years of experience in structural dynamics, durability and NVH simulation for powertrain systems
- Strong expertise in modal analysis, flexible body dynamics and driveline multibody systems
- Experience in torsional vibration, rotating machinery and vibro-acoustic behavior
- Knowledge of mounting systems design, fatigue, crash loads and topology optimization
- Experience with explicit dynamics and subsystem crash simulations
- Proficiency with CAE tools (FEA, MBD, explicit solvers)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Excellent communication and ability to explain complex concepts clearly
- Experience working in cross-functional engineering environments
- Ability to mentor and support junior engineers
