Job Summary
Greet service customers, listen to their needs, and translate concerns into precise work orders for technicians. Prepare and explain service estimates, proactively update customers on repair progress, and manage dispatch schedules to optimize workflow. Finalize service tickets, verify warranty coverage, administer manufacturer warranties, and maintain accurate records in the database system. Collaborate with the Service Manager and Parts Department to ensure smooth operations while promoting valuable services.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience in a Service Writing or Advisor role
- Exceptional customer service and communication skills
- A foundational understanding of mechanical knowledge
- Strong multitasking and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Desired Qualifications
- Powersports or automotive experience
- Familiarity with Lightspeed or similar dealership management software
