Job Summary
Develop business apps using Power Apps (Canvas primarily) and build Power Automate workflows for process automation, leveraging Dataverse or SharePoint as the backend. Create Power BI dashboards for operations covering production, quality, and CI while working with business users to define KPIs and reporting needs. Apply software development best practices, including coding standards, secure coding, and code reviews, to design and code complex functions autonomously. Support testing, deployment, and maintenance by correcting errors and coding enhancements, while documenting solutions through code comments and diagrams.
Required Qualifications
- 3–6 years in Power Platform / low-code development
- Background in IT, Data, or Engineering
- Experience in business-facing roles
- Develop business apps using Power Apps (Canvas primarily)
- Build Power Automate workflows for process automation
- Use Dataverse / SharePoint as backend for applications
- Deliver fast, scalable, and reusable solutions
- Build Power BI dashboards for operations (production, quality, CI)
- Work with business users to define KPIs and reporting needs
- Uses programming, scripting and database languages to write software code that meets requirements and that optimizes software performances
- Identifies existing software components, libraries and frameworks to reuse in the solutions
- Applies knowledge of software development best practices, including coding standards, secure coding, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations
- Contributes to requirement (functional and non-functional) analysis and estimations
- Supports software testing, deployment, maintenance, and evolution activities by correcting programming errors, responding to scope changes, and coding software enhancements
- Builds up software structure including functions, design patterns, layers, etc.
- Documents and demonstrates solutions by developing code comments, layouts, diagrams and charts
- Designs and codes autonomously complex functions and full modules, within agreed quality, deadline and cost; asking for support of experienced peer when needed
- Performs code reviews and basic troubleshooting
- Participates in workshop with customer and external parties
- Coaches less experienced software developers
